Our individual therapy sessions are for families and children from 3 to 15 years of age. We feel it is important to work closely with the whole family unit when providing individual therapy and invite parents to be part of our sessions. Having the knowledge and education to be able to support our children and create an environment for them in which they can thrive is imperative for their health and wellbeing. 

Our approach prioritises your child’s interests, autonomy, and authentic growth. Here is what you can expect from our individual sessions:

• Safety and a nurturing therapeutic relationship between therapist, child and parents.

• Knowledge and education for parents and child’s other significant caregivers to support your child’s individual needs.

• Emotional regulation support through education for parents as well as play, mindfulness, creativity, and creative expression

• Body connectedness through movement-based activities, play and building body awareness.

• Gross motor skill development through exploration of naturalistic playgrounds and other opportunities in nature including bike riding, scooter riding, and ball games.

• Fine motor development through exploration of nature and playground, nature crafts/creative play and messy play.

• Confidence building through trying new activities and exploring nature.
